So if I understand this correctly, Microsoft N-1 model means that we no longer have access to the long term release branch? I am incredulous that Microsoft would do something to harm it’s partners ability to do their work. Then again, Microsoft tried to pull Internal Usage Rights in July, and only backtracked after an outright partner mutiny, so maybe I shouldn’t be so incredulous. In the early day’s life was so simple. We only had a few different versions of Windows Server. But yesterday i was suppriesed to see another version of Windows Server. I was able to download “Windows Server version “, next to Windows server Oktober release. Does anyone know what this version is? I have installed it and it presents a core server but i can’t find any information of why you would use this version.
